Suddenly we hear someone shouting from the top of the wall! There was guard with a gun screaming for us, signing us to get down! I was so embarrassed and scared! I start jumping down, for tomb to tomb, my long skirt sticks on to burdocks. I'm afraid we get into trouble. But it is ok, guard sees we are just stupid tourists and asks were are we from. Friend told him she is from New York, and I'm happy with that, I dont want to stay chatting about if I'm from New York or Finland. Glad to get out of that cemetary, I think I wont go there never again.
Amazing, old ruins, near old city:
Who lived here and what did they do?:
We went to the wall, but still it was sabbath so we could not take any pictures. I saw one stupid woman with small top. Female guard grabbed extra scraf and run towards her and cover her shoulders. I was thinking if my t-shirt was also too open. Next I noticed another female guard coming fast towards me! Thank goodness I had my pink new scraf in my handbag, I covered myself quickly and she did turn away. *huh*
In saturday evening when sabbath did end, we went back to the wall again to take some pictures:
Men pray on left, fence between them and dirty women:
We went closer, in womens area. They prayed and after that walked backwards away from the wall. They respect the wall so much, they dont want to turn their back or ass on it. We did not saw men do that - and neither did my jewish friend never had seen this kind of behaviour. But then we saw one man speaking spanish to flagpole! Weird. It took a while before we realized there was webcamera and microfone...
