It is almost five in the morning when our plane lands to Ben Gurion airport. Fellow travellers are so happy, they cheer and clap their hands. Feels good to finally be here! Queues in passport check are interesting. Behind me stands good looking man, too shame he is so fat. Cute female officer wants to see my Sar-El papers. I sit and wait in arrivals hall for over three hours before others start to come after eight. Bottle of finnish cloudberry liquer has broke in my bag, all my clothes are wet and smell booze. Great.
We had to wait until afternoon for some people. I'm deadtired. For some reason we all have to squeeze into one small minibus with our luggage. Welcome to Israel. Some papers were left to airport so we had to turn back. Oh dear. I fell asleep.
I woke up in small army base near Ramle. Nice suprise there was also volunteer from Finland. All soldiers were in a trip, base was totally quiet and we did not get our uniforms. In daily meeting we introduced ourselves and told what we wish to get from Sar-El. I went for walk with nice lady, we had only two blocks to walk around because our base was so little, inside bigger one and it is not permitted to leave there.
